ArtSpace-Cleveland Mission

Founded in 1998, ArtSpace-Cleveland is dedicated to the development and sustainability of  affordable living and workspace for artists in a community setting.

ArtSpace-Cleveland is a resource for artists to find space to live and work.

  • Publish a monthly on-line newsletter
  • Contact non-profit organizations,and building owners to identify available space
  • Research zoning and building codes to facilitate affordable space development
  • Maintain a database and website
  • Provide building owners with information on the needs of artists
  • Conducts an annual trolley tour of artist live-work studios

ArtSpace-Cleveland works in partnership with The Greater Cleveland Partnership, the St. Clair Superior CDC, Campus District, and Community Partnership for Arts and Culture. Sponsors include the city of Cleveland, Dominion Foundation, Forest City Realty, Prizm the Art Supply Store, Campus District and Tower Press Development.
